Pretty much 2 words sum up our weekend; Pretend and Art. We did our share of other things too, but these to things seemed to rule. Lots of Pretend; Vet (since Jasmine went to the vet), History Camp (yup..still got that on tha brain), Work (now that was a first), School (of course), and other stuff too. Lots of Art too. M.J attended an art class at ACO called Multi Media Medley Saturday morning. She really seemed to enjoyed it and is looking forward to going back next week to paint. She started the below painting Friday night and finished it up Saturday. I officially call it "Sauce", because MaryJane says its sauces; from chocolate sauce to skin sauce. hehe.
This is the picture she made for me at her class. Fab!
...and is the picture her super nice teacher made for her. Go Kelly!
She also has a pencil drawing of some pottery she was working on when i got to her class and its still a work in progress. She did another painting and spent time doodling w/ her favorite pen in a new Disney Princess notebook I got for her while she was in class. Also, on Sunday we broke out the 8 containers of Play-Doh. We has a blast. We each made a litter (or "glitter " as M.J. calls it) box to start (hers turned into a food dish tho) and I was the official cat maker. I made 2 mother cats and 2 Kittens that day. She loved her kittens. She made some really impressive things; A sort of spinner w/ a disco ball on top and the best was a girl. She used all different colors for her an put a lot of detail into it, complete w/ a bow in her hair and a smiley face t-shirt.
