Party Hardy!

Not everything was accomplished over the weekend, but the party was great and rockin all day Saturday and we got almost all our planned school lessons done on Sunday. Hogs lost...by a lot...no top 25....yet. : ) Artwork got scrapped...starting over...done on Friday. : ) DVD-RW didnt get re-setup, but it did last nite...and super happy w/ it. : )

We certainly didnt get up at 5 am, but instead 6:40. So i was wrong about thinking the party was to celebrate the new year. It turns out it was to celebrate Neo's birthday. Neo is the Neopet in the picture w/ the hat and rings that Lionel made for her on Friday nite. We were in the kitchen starting to make our cupcakes by 7. Neo invited 15 (13 stuffed animals, MaryJane, and I) to the party and while the cupcakes cooked and cooled each one of us made one of the Barbie heads you see on the cupcakes. Originally these were going to be just for the Barbie chicken we made for dinner, but she decided she wanted them to go in the cupcakes and later in the chicken. It was great fun and the cupcakes turned out so great and yummy. We played Barbies and Gameplayer. MaryJane, I, Pink Poodle and Neo made Famous French Poodle Curly Sandwiches for lunch. We put on tattoos, played with the Barbie heads, and created/played rock, paper scissors w/ added movements and sound effects. We played horses. We and seen part of a horse jumping competition on Animal Plant so she wanted to play that. I set-up tracks made of books and movies and she ran her horses with Barbies on them around the tracks. We watched Barbie in a Christmas Carol while all 15 of us dinned on the Barbie chicken and fresh green beans she helped prepare. We played Betty Spaghetti during bath time, had a short pillow fight and did other stuff too.

Sunday we did a 2 Heritage Study Lessons, 1 Science Lesson, and played a bunch. She served stuffed animals Moonsand, we played a game from Neopets.com where we tied string to ourselves and tried to pull the other into the blue towel water, and we played Barbies...of course. hehe.

MaryJane starts Treehouse again next week and Community group kicks off tonight. Excited about both. Ill get up some details about her schedule for the Spring Semester later this week and im presenting an idea for our spring semester curriculum at group tonight so i will have to tell you all about that if it gets picked.

What a wonderful father you are, Michael~

It is such a blessing for Poppy and for me to know and appreciate all of your efforts with your Angel Girl.

At odd times when I reflect on my own childhood and that of my beloved husband, I just can't help but wonder what it would have been like to have the blessing of such a devoted...CREATIVE...and loving father.

You have the most wonderful child in the world. I have been around many and she is without doubt exceptional. Encouraging her creativity is the most wonderful gift that she could receive from her daddy.

I love you, Michael. So does Bill. We are grateful for you.

Lovingly,
Gina
