Quick Weekend/Post

What a quick weekend. Flew bye i tell ya. Was good tho. Got out Staurday morning to take M.J. to her drama class. Went and got a shelving unit for her rooom. to many toys, not enough space. 15 minutes to assemble my butt. to me about an hour and got two good gashes on my hand. worth it tho. M.J seems to think its cool. She had fun at her class. didnt get much details from her just "we played some games". she did bring home her play outline and cant remeber of the top of my head the name of the play, but she is a giraffe. 2 cute. not surprised either as the giraffe is certainly one of her fav animals. Her mommy came by and picked her up after lunch so i could watch the game and get some shopping done. the game was a downer, but managed to get a some shopping and cleaning done despite the depression. Picked up M.J after church Sunday and spent the remiander of the day playing, doing some chores, and lounging about the house. it was nice. M.J. is doing a presidents day lesson today. Jess siad they learned about George Washington this morning. M.J. is gearing up for a big day tomorrow w/ treehouse, library class and communuiy group. our group meets every other thuesday, but w/ the weather and sickness we have missed our first 2 meetings, so very thankful and anxious to go tomorrow night. i think i just may bew getting my Dish Network service back tonight. have been trying to get a couple receivers for cheap and ive finally made a deal w/ someone and am picking them up after work. if all goes well ill be up all night watching glorious nonsense. until next time...peace.

What a Sweet Day!

What a very nice Valentines day. My little valentine had a great time. she attended a valentines party at the jones center w/ some of her friends from treehouse. jess said it was pretty bunk, but M.J. had a great time and thats what matters. she got and gave a thousand valentines and ran a muck w/ her 2 friends. meet up w/ Jess afterwards and went home to prep for Codys b-day party. She filled me on on the party and the goodies she got from her mommy on the way home. Heres my valentine w/ her valentine from daddy.
She gave me 2 suckers and a frame she made for me to take to work. its so fab. think im going to put the above in it. ill get a pic of the artists creation when i get her in it. what a sweetheart. Had fun at Codys party too. yummy nana cooking and lots of conversation. was good to see everyone and was pleased grandma mary could make it. always a pleasure. MaryJane had fun helping nana w/ dinner, helping cody open presents, and visiting w/ family.

PLATES, CHIPMUNCKS, & A BEAR....OH MY!

amongst the many, many, thangs we played this weekend was paper plates. yup. after her dragon mask she made for chinese new years at mommy's she requested i get some. So while she was at ther acting class saturday i picked up a pack and its been two dollers well spendt hehe. we spent some time Saturday and Sunday decorating them. shes proud of hers for sure and here is her collection so far. she was concerned about you being able to see the decorations on each. i assured her you could zoom in so remember you can click the picture for a huge version. she made some really nice plates. it was crazy to becasue i went to pick her up from Sunday School and of all things she had made a lamb out of....yes, paper plates. its like paper plate mania. hahaha so yeah..had a nice time at church and back to her class saturday. she had fun aparently. said they played 2 games. "explode tag" and "do what the director says" MaryJane went to the her Alvin and the Chipmuncks movie Saturday instead of Sunday and had so much to tell me about it. she really liked it alot and says we muct get it on DVD when it comes out. from what she told me it sounds hilarious. its cool they made it i think. got outside a played some on Sunday, the colder of the days, but it wasnt to cold. M.J. and I played a bit and then Samantha came out of a bit. Was nice to get out on the play place and run around i must say. Gonna miss her tonight as M.J. spends monday nights w/ mommy because tree house is tuesday morning. luckily there is american gladiators semi #2 and deal or no deal million dollar mission x11 to keep me occupied. haha. oh...one more thing before i go. i have to tell about this. we were on our way back from church sunday and i got behind a Bryers (ice cream) truck. we were admiring the beautiful ice cream pictures all over it. it was a sharp looking truck. so we passed it, i looked back and there was a big white polar bear w/ glassees and a t-shirt in the seat next to the guy driving. as people passed the driver would wave to them and the bear would wave too. it was hilarious. craziest thing ive seen in a while. be on the look out. haha. ok..im out.

Sweet Relief

Ahhhhh....how great it is to have my babygurl back. Being w/o her for over a week because of the weather and my being sick stunk. It was the longest week of my life i tell ya. Anywho, we spent last night and Wednesday night together and its been so fabluous. When i went to get her from the library Wednesday i picked her up and never wanted to put her down, but she ways a ton so i had too...darn. hehe. Had a tea party w/ a swet new tea set Wednesday and waatch a new disney flick called Snow Buddies about 5 cute golden retrievers and 1 baby Nishka (M.J.'s huskie at her mommy's). it was very cute. No tv last night tho. it was Scooby doo, cheerleading, and (pretend) school. This is M.J. being Dafney. Guess who i always get to be...yup...Shaggy. fitting i guess. haha! so we solved a few mysteries and then she broke out the pom-poms i took from the Razorback vs. Miss St. game. Shhh...dont tell. ; ) Shes really likes them and it showed last night. she did "Go Razorbacks" cheers, i pretended to play sports and she cheered me on, and i even got to control her like she was in a video game or sumdin. it was krazy silly, but so much fun.

Really looking forward to getting off work and spending tonight and the weekend with her. Not sure what all we will get ourselves into. Tomorrow is her first day of "Creative Dramatics". Its an acting class at The Arts Center of the Ozarks here in Springdale. Shes takin the class previously and a clay class there too. Shes very excited as am i becuase for once one of her classes is on a the weekend so i get to take her. : ) Even tho she took the class before they will be doing different things and will putting together a different play for the final day. This will be her third play. Shes also going w/ her mom to see Alvin and the Chipmunks Sunday after church. Looks funny to me. Always thought the Chipmunks were cool.

SICK of being sick!

Yup...ive been sick...and im sick of it. Much better today and back at work after a trip to the doctor yesterday. got sick Friday and was sick all weekend. flu like symptoms, but not the flu....more phnemonia like, upper resporitory action. yuck. just wanted you all to know i was alive. wish i had a fabulous weekend to talk and show you about, but it was lousy. Havent seen my girl since early last week w/ the weather being bad thursday and the sickness following. i finally get my hands on her tomorrow and i am so excited. Cant wait to smooch her little face off.
